Speaking on Keepin’ It OFFICIAL podcast, Konnan stated that he’s very sure that MJF is destined to be a WWE superstar, and he’ll find great success in the Triple H-led company. He said:

If he ever goes to WWE, and he will, he will be a monster. And his are different type of promo. It’s more like you said entertaining, throwing zingers in, burying you.(From 2:45)

‘AEW Star MJF Is Better Than WWE’s Cody Rhodes’: Disco Inferno

In the same podcast episode, Disco Inferno compared MJF with Cody Rhodes, stating that the AEW star is better than the WWE star.

The discussion started when a fan asked who the better star is between Rhodes and MJF, and Inferno picked The Salt of the Earth.

The reason he picked Friedman was that he believes MJF is funnier and has “more charisma” than Cody Rhodes. He also said that MJF is better on the microphone.

Disco said, “MJF definitely has more charisma than Cody. He’s definitely more funny… Hey were both in AEW together and Cody wasn’t better than MJF on the mic” (From 1:44)
