One AEW Star Allegedly Better Than WWE’s Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes is arguably one of the best wrestlers in WWE right now.

The American Nightmare has had a decorated career in WWE. He has held the Undisputed WWE Championship twice, winning it at WrestleMania XL (Night 2) in 2024 and later regaining it at SummerSlam 2025.

He is the inaugural WWE Crown Jewel Champion. He is a two-time Intercontinental Champion and multi-time Tag Team Champion. He has won the Royal Rumble twice and also won the King of the Ring in 2025.

There is no doubt that one day he’ll make it to the WWE Hall of Fame as well. Even with all that he has achieved, a veteran feels that he is not in the same league as AEW star MJF.

Disco Inferno Says MJF Has “More Charisma” Than Cody Rhodes

On the latest edition of Keepin’ It OFFICIAL, a curious fan asked: Who is better, Cody Rhodes or MJF?

Veteran Disco Inferno replied that he thinks the AEW star is better than the WWE star because the current AEW World Champion MJF is funnier and has more charisma than the former WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes. Plus, MJF has better mic skills.

Disco said, “MJF definitely has more charisma than Cody. He’s definitely more funny… Hey were both in AEW together and Cody wasn’t better than MJF on the mic” (From 1:44)

For those unaware, Rhodes and MJF are best friends and share a mentor-mentee relationship. Both have expressed genuine admiration for each other, with MJF often praising Cody’s work ethic and insight.

Rhodes, former EVP of AEW, was instrumental in bringing MJF to AEW and took him under his wing, despite initial reservations from others in The Elite. Even though they work for rival promotions, MJF has stated he still contacts Cody for advice.
