AEW Star May Be Teasing WWE Return

AEW Logo over roster

AEW star Dax Harwood has possibly teased a return to WWE through a carefully positioned photo that has got the wrestling world talking.

Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler both left WWE – where they were known as The Revival – in the spring of 2020 after protracted attempts to secure their release earlier. Just a few short weeks later, FTR turned up in AEW and looked destined for big things in the company.

FTR captured the AEW Tag Team Championship but in 2022 the team really came into their own as they captured the ROH and IWGP Tag Team Championships in addition to the AAA Tag Team Championship they won in 2021. Harwood and Wheeler had the year of their career that was punctuated by a classic trilogy of matches with The Briscoes.

But in wrestling, things rarely stay the same and FTR is currently taking time off AEW television with Harwood confirming that the duo’s contracts with Tony Khan’s company expire in April 2023, with their futures looking unclear.

Dax Harwood has now taken to social media to share an image that has got tongues wagging as he shares a bottle of exquisite tequila, but sneaking into frame happens to be what looks like an envelope with the WWE logo on it.

WWE has been signing up many stars who left under the previous management, whether Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler become the next two to sign back up with Triple H remains to be seen.
