AEW Expected To Sign Top Women’s Indy Wrestler

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is expected to sign a top women’s indy wrestler that they have been looking at for a long time.

It has been reported by Fightful Select that AEW has offered a contract to standout independent wrestler and top prospect Ashley D’Amboise.

The report notes that D’Amboise has been known by people in All Elite Wrestling for a long time since she wrestled for the company during the Daily’s Place era of shows about two years ago with D’Amboise working about 20 dates for AEW.

D’Amboise also teamed up with Skye Blue on an episode of Rampage last year when they lost to Dr. Bitt Baker D.M.D. and Jamie Hayter in tag team action.

In addition to All Elite Wrestling appearances, D’Amboise has been on NWA TV shows, she wrestled Deonna Purrazzo in Impact Wrestling and also appeared in WWE. The December 23rd, 2022 edition of Smackdown saw D’Amboise appear as a ballerina dancer during the Trick or Street Fight.

Even though she has only been wrestling for about two years, D’Amboise has been called a quick learner that picked up pro wrestling quickly.

Fightful added that AEW sources didn’t confirm whether her deal would be full-time or a tiered deal, but it’s believed that D’Amboise will sign with AEW within the next few weeks.
