AEW Dynamite Doesn’t Go as Planned for the Don Callis Family

A huge night was in store for the Don Callis Family tonight, as they were involved in action almost throughout the episode of AEW Dynamite tonight, including two title matches.

The night began with Rocky Romero opening the night with Kenny Omega, before Konosuke Takeshita made his intentions of going after the Continental Championship clear.

Meanwhile, Jake Doyle and Mark Davis made their presence known on the show as they attacked Moxley before their AEW World Tag Team Championship clash.

However, the night ended poorly for the Don Callis Family on every occasion as they weren’t successful tonight. Rocky Romero lost to Omega while Mark Briscoe retained the TNT Title against El Clon.

Doyle and Davis laying out Mox was the only positive for the group, but even there, Mox had the last laugh. He clocked Mark Davis with the tag team belt during the match while the referee had his back turned.

FTR took advantage of the same, as they hit a Shatter Machine on an already groggy Davis to pick up the win and retain their AEW World Tag Team Championship.
