AEW WrestleDream

Another title will be on the line in Seattle at AEW WrestleDream.

AEW WrestleDream will take place in Seattle on October 1st as Tony Khan’s company pays tribute to Japanese legend Antonio Inoki on the first anniversary of Inoki’s death.

On AEW Rampage The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn put their Trios Championship on the line against The Hardys and Brother Zay, emerging from that bout with their titles intact. Immediately after the match, it was confirmed that Max Caster, Anthony Bowens, and Billy Gunn would be on the card in Seattle on the WrestleDream pre-show as they put their gold on the line against the TMDK trio of Shane Haste, Mikey Nicholls, and Bad Dude Tito.

TMDK is a group from New Japan Pro Wrestling and their highest profile star, Zack Sabre Jr., will also be on the show in a huge dream match against Bryan Danielson. That bout was originally meant to happen at the first Forbidden Door show in 2022 but an injury to Danielson saw him replaced by the debuting Claudio Castagnoli.
