Adam Copeland Returns At AEW Revolution 2026; He’s Not Alone

AEW Revolution began with a bang in Los Angeles, California, as the opening bout of the card saw a huge personal rivalry addressed in the center of the ring.

The AEW World Tag Team Championships were on the line as FTR and The Young Bucks went to war with each other for the belts, in a brutal and bloody match that pushed both teams to their limits.

The bout ultimately ended in a victory for FTR as they retained their belts, but it wasn’t an entirely successful night for them. Following their win, the lights went out, signalling Adam Copeland’s return to the promotion.

Adam Copeland returns to AEW with Christian Cage

Copeland was betrayed by FTR last year and took some time off following his and Christian Cage’s win over FTR, following which Dax and Cash attacked Cope’s wife, Beth Phoenix.

The Rated-R superstar hadn’t been seen since then, and he didn’t come back alone tonight. Christian Cage also made his return tonight as he sprayed pepper spray into Cash’s eyes after sneaking up on him from behind.

He then hit a Killswitch on Dax Harwood before sending him out of the ring. The duo then held the tag team titles and posed with the belts, signalling their intentions before walking off after a stare down with The Bucks as well.
