Absent WWE Stars Likely Returning For Post-Royal Rumble RAW

There could be two familiar faces back on WWE Monday Night Raw after the Royal Rumble.

The WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio has been out of action since late December, but there is good news for The Judgment Day member, who has been dealing with a shoulder injury.

While Mysterio has been away from WWE television, the shoulder injury he has been dealing with isn’t severe enough to take the Intercontinental Title from him, so he has kept the title even while being off television.

In an update, PWInsider Elite reports that Dirty Dom is expected to be at tonight’s February 2nd edition of Monday Night RAW in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is believed that Dominik is ready to be reintroduced into storylines, but it’s not known whether he’ll be wrestling on the show.

The last televised WWE match that Dominik Mysterio had was at Survivor Series in late November, when he beat John Cena to regain the Intercontinental Title in what was Cena’s last WWE PLE match. Dominik got an assist from a returning Liv Morgan in that match.

WWE’s Original El Grande Americano Expected For Raw

During the Men’s Royal Rumble Match in Riyadh, El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) was #12 in the match, and the Original El Grande Americano (Chad Gable) was #13 in the match. Of course, the WWE commentary team has to act like they don’t know who are under the masks, but the fans know.

The two men in the Americano masks interacted, and the Original dumped Grande over the top to the floor. Trick Williams went on ot dump the Original Grande out of the match as well.

Chad Gable confirmed in July that he’d undergone shoulder surgery and ended up missing about six months of action. Prior to the Royal Rumble, Gable’s last match as Original El Grande Americano was in June 2025 in a WWE Speed match.

Also on WWE Raw in Philadelphia, Stephanie Vaquer will defend the Women’s World Title against Raquel Rodriguez in a Philadelphia Street Fight.
