50-Year-Old Megastar Makes Blockbuster AEW In-Ring Return At Revolution 2026
The first AEW pay-per-view of the year is live from the City of Angels tonight as the show emanates live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
Even before the show began officially, there were some exciting matches lined up for the Zero Hour show tonight, which will see both the AEW National and the TBS Championship defended on the card.
The first match of the Zero Hour began with the only non-title bout of the card, which saw Carlie Bravo and Capt. Shawn Dean of The Infantry take on Big Boom AJ and QT Marshall, the Boom and Doom.
Big Boom AJ makes an AEW Return tonight
The 50-year-old megastar, Big Boom AJ, made his long-awaited return to the All Elite promotion tonight, as he appeared on AEW television for the first time in 2026.
He last appeared for the promotion at Full Gear 2025 back in November last year, where Boom and Doom defeated RPG Vice. He emerged victorious on his return after a nearly four-month absence.
However, it seems like nothing has changed as AJ continued his impressive run in AEW, as he continued his winning streak on All Elite programming, making Boom and Doom’s win over The Infantry their fourth successive win in the promotion.
