WWE RAW tonight saw the return of a former three-time champion to the company after they had been away from WWE programming for the last few months.

The World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk, made his way down to the ring tonight as he was speaking about his upcoming match for the title with Finn Balor at Elimination Chamber 2026.

Punk was talking about how he makes everything better, and he will make the WrestleMania 42 main event better as well by making it out of the Chamber as the World Champion.

Punk was then confronted by Finn Balor, who didn’t come out alone. Balor was accompanied to the ring by the Intercontinental Champion, Dominik Mysterio, and the returning JD McDonagh.

The former 3-time WWE champion last appeared on the November 24 edition of RAW, where he lost to Rey Mysterio in singles action. Shortly after the match, he announced on social media that he would be undergoing surgery.

The surgery was set to keep him away for a while, but it seems that he has now recovered from his injury and was ready to get in on the action tonight, as he was stopped by Balor from taking out CM Punk.
