Kazuchika Okada Title Match At AEW Dynasty Confirmed

Kazuchika Okada AEW Continental Champion

The AEW Dynasty card is shaping up and on Dynamite, Kazuchika Okada’s match for the company’s newest pay-per-view was confirmed.

Kazuchika Okada shocked everyone when he announced he was leaving NJPW in early 2023. Okada’s plans were revealed when he officially joined the AEW roster but there was more surprise when he immediately turned heel and teamed up with The Young Bucks in The Elite.

Success has never been hard to come by for Kazuchika Okada and in AEW it proved to be the same. In his first singles match as part of the AEW roster, Okada defeated Eddie Kingston on Dynamite to become the Continental Champion. Now he’s set to put that title on the line at Dynasty against one vicious opponent.

Kazuchika Okada Puts Title On The Line At AEW Dynasty

Since returning to the company PAC has had his sights firmly set on The Rainmaker. The former All-Atlantic Champion saved Penta El Zero Miedo and Eddie Kingston from a 3-on-2 beatdown at the hands of The Elite and on the 6th of April edition of Collision he challenged Okada for a Continental Title match at Dynasty.

On Dynamite in Charleston, West Virginia, Kazuchika Okada accepted that challenge in what will be his first defence of his title. PAC had a staredown with Okada before The Young Bucks jumped the English star from behind. That brought out The Bucks’ own opponents at Dynasty, FTR, but they were taken out by a steel char-wielding Okada as The Elite stood tall.

Earlier in the night, AEW followed through with what many expected but could scarcely believe as The Young Bucks showed footage from CM Punk’s backstage fight at All In.
