Updated Lineup for WWE Extreme Rules After Tag Match Added At Smackdown Tapings

TJR Wrestling

A new match was added to WWE Extreme Rules during the Smackdown taping this week.

It’s a Tornado Rules Tag Team Match with Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson taking on The Usos. In a Tornado Rules match, you don’t have to tag in your partner. All four guys are a part of the match at the same time and the first pinfall wins the match.

On Monday’s Raw, the two teams faced off with The Usos winning that match clean. Will Gallows & Anderson get the win back? Probably.

Here’s the full card, which I’m just re-pasting in from my Raw Deal because I’m honest with you and also lazy.

Extreme Rules Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Title: Roman Reigns vs. AJ Styles

Fatal 4 Way for the WWE Intercontinental Title: The Miz vs. Cesaro vs. Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens

Asylum Match: Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho – The rules on WWE.com state that the only way to win the match is by pinfall or submission. There’s no “escape the cage” option.

Submission Match for the WWE Women’s Title: Charlotte vs. Natalya (Ric Flair is banned from ringside)

WWE Tag Team Title Match: The New Day vs. The Vaudevillains

WWE United States Title Match: Kalisto vs. Rusev

Tornado Rules Tag Match: Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson vs. The Usos

No Disqualification: Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin (Kickoff Show)

As you can see above, six of the eight matches have stipulations on them. That’s a common theme at Extreme Rules events. I’m not sure why the creative team is too lazy to come up with stips for the Tag Title and US Title matches, but that’s what happened.

Check back here on TJRWrestling.net on Friday evening for our four person preview of the event.
