The Wyatt Sicks could be on their way to another promotion, according to a new report.

The Wyatt Sicks faction, which comprised Uncle Howdy(Bo Dallas), Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, and Nikki Cross, was released by WWE as part of post-WrestleMania 42 cuts that led to 25 talents being released.

They had been an active faction since the summer of 2024 and had most recently been feuding with the MFTs led by Solo Sikoa for months. The Wyatts had a sacred lantern, akin to The Undertaker’s Urn from back in the day, that the MFTs would steal, and then a back-and-forth would occur week after week on SmackDown.

The feud ended when the teams met one final time on the go-home episode of SmackDown before WrestleMania, in what turned out to be the faction’s final appearance on WWE TV.

The recent talent cuts also saw major SmackDown stars like Aleister Black and his wife Zelina Vega get let go, along with the tag team Motor City Machine Guns.

The released talents will now have to find a job at a different wrestling promotion, and in TNA, people reportedly believe that the Wyatt Sicks are set to join AEW. However, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful dismissed this idea in a recent video.

Wyatt Sicks Will Not Go To AEW, Says Sean Ross Sapp

While speaking on Fightful’s The Hump, Sean Ross Sapp said that although people in TNA believe that the Wyatts will join AEW, they won’t be joining the Tony Khan-led promotion.

People I talk to in TNA seem to think that Wyatt Sicks would end up in AEW. They’re not going to AEW. I think they actually end up doing indie stuff together, TNA, MLW, and that.

People within TNA also feel that the recently released Motor City Machine Guns will sign with All Elite Wrestling at some point in the future.

For now, the Wyatts may end up in the independent circuit, according to Sapp.

The MFTs have moved on from their long-standing feud with the Wyatts and were confronted and taken out by Jacob Fatu, who is set to face Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Title at Backlash on May 9th.
