WWE has revealed that WrestleMania 38 will headline a whole week of action in and around Dallas that includes both NXT Stand & Deliver and the Hall Of Fame.
The company has announced that this year will see “The most stupendous WrestleMania week” with action-packed shows taking place nearly non-stop in the lead-up to ‘The Showcase Of The Immortals’ itself.
Dallas Morning News broke the story that Raw, SmackDown, the WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony, and NXT Stand & Deliver will all happen during the week of WrestleMania which is set to take place over two nights on April 2nd and 3rd.
WWE.com has revealed that the Raw before WrestleMania will take place in Texas, but makes no mention of the Raw after the annual spectacular that also traditionally takes place in the same city as the ‘Grandaddy Of Them All.
A Superstore Axxess event will also take place, allowing fans to see historic exhibits and even meet their favourite Superstars in what is one of the key parts of WrestleMania week.
While dates or venues have been confirmed for the events around WrestleMania 38, WWE has confirmed they will all take place in the “Dallas area.”
Ahead of WrestleMania 37 in 2021, NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver took place over two nights on the Wednesday and Thursday before the big event. On that occasion, the action took place in the Capitol Wrestling Center inside the WWE Performance Center, so this will be the first time that NXT has left the confines of the Performance Center for a show since the pandemic started.
This will also be the first WrestleMania week for the NXT 2.0 brand, led by the NXT Champion Bron Breakker and a very different roster to that seen at last year’s Stand & Deliver.
The WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony for both the 2020 & 2021 inductions was pre-taped in 2021 with both ceremonies airing on Friday, April 6th. 2022’s ceremony might be the first WWE Hall Of Fame that fans will be able to attend in 3 years.
