WWE WrestleMania 42 Card Possibly Spoiled
This year’s WrestleMania 42 will be returning to Las Vegas once again. The event will take place on April 18–19 at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
WWE’s biggest premium live event of the year is now just over a month away, and several matches have already been added to the card.
The first match announced was CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns, after Roman Reigns won the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble to earn a championship opportunity. The 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble winner, Liv Morgan, then announced that she would challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship.
As a result, when Rhea Ripley won the 2026 Women’s Elimination Chamber match, she was set to face Jade Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship. On the men’s side, Randy Orton won the Men’s Elimination Chamber match this past Saturday and is now scheduled to challenge Drew McIntyre for the Undisputed WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42.
However, before that happens, McIntyre must defend his title against Cody Rhodes on SmackDown this week. If McIntyre loses to Cody Rhodes, the WrestleMania title match would shift to Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes for the title.
Sam Roberts’ Prediction For WWE WrestleMania 42 Match Card
With WWE’s biggest premium live event approaching, Sam Roberts predicted the WrestleMania 42 match card on his Notsam Wrestling Emergency podcast following Elimination Chamber. Roberts predicted that Cody Rhodes will face Randy Orton, while Drew McIntyre will square off against Jacob Fatu in a singles match.
He also predicted Seth Rollins, who returned at Elimination Chamber, would go one-on-one with Logan Paul. Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk, Liv Morgan vs. Stephanie McKay, and Rhea Ripley vs. Jade Cargill are expected to remain unchanged.
Additionally, Roberts suggested that AJ Lee and Becky Lynch could have a rematch for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
Cody versus Randy, Drew versus Jacob, Seth versus Logan Paul. Roman versus Punk. Liv versus Stephanie. AJ versus Becky rematch. Rhea versus Jade. Yeah, that’s
I’m feeling that right now. And this is all about feelings. (From 18:35)
