WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk Busted Open At Elimination Chamber

CM Punk headed into WWE Elimination Chamber as the fan favorite as he was scheduled to defend his World Heavyweight Championship in front of his hometown crowd at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Punk was challenged to a match by Finn Balor after he was defeated by the champion in front of his people on an episode of RAW in Belfast, Northern Ireland, during WWE’s European tour.

Balor challenged Punk for a match at Chamber as he looked to do the same that Punk did to him and defeat him for the title in front of his home crowd in Chicago.

CM Punk left bloodied at WWE Elimination Chamber

Punk and Balor wrestled a brutal match as the hometown hero looked to follow in his wife’s footsteps. An extremely physical match between the two saw Punk busted open at Elimination Chamber.

He was seen bleeding from his mouth halfway through the match as a brutal match turned things bloody for the champion. He wrestled the rest of the match with a bloodied mouth and got the win over Balor.
