Mark Henry believes that a current AEW star will be inducted into WWE’s Hall of Fame at some point.

Amid speculations about rejoining the Stamford promotion, Chris Jericho returned to All Elite Wrestling on April 1 after a nearly year-long hiatus.

The former AEW Champion was immediately set up in a feud with Ricochet’s ‘The Demand.’ The two superstars competed in a singles match at Dynasty.

While Jericho was able to go almost 20 minutes, he suffered a loss after Ricochet hit him with a Lionsault, which he later began calling Ricosault.

The feud also extended to the April 25 episode of Collision, where Jericho teamed up with The Hurt Syndicate to take on Ricochet, Toa Liona, and Bishop Kaun. This time around, too, Ricochet pinned Jericho after hitting him with a ‘Ricosault.’

On the latest episode of Dynamite, Chris Jericho was beaten up backstage by members of The Demand, continuing their feud to set up a future bout.

Mark Henry Believes Chris Jericho Will Be A WWE Hall Of Famer

Before joining AEW in 2019, Chris Jericho had multiple stints with WWE.

Jericho is also well-remembered for his debut in the Stamford promotion in August 1999, where he interrupted The Rock.

During his multi-year stint with the company, he became a 5-time singles World Champion and a 1-time Undisputed Champion. Jericho also won the Intercontinental Championship 9 times and the United States Championship twice.

The 55-year-old is known for constantly reinventing his on-screen character, picking up gimmicks like Y2J, Best in the World, and The List of Jericho. He continued evolving as Le Champion and as the leader of both The Learning Tree and Jericho Appreciation Society.

During an interview with ITR Wrestling, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry claimed that Jericho would one day enter the Stamford promotion’s Hall of Fame despite being associated to AEW.

I think so. He wants to create and control the narrative. He has a better chance of doing that at AEW. His legacy is going to be what it is. He succeeded in WWE, and he succeeded at AEW. When he decides to stop, the WWE still is going to want to put him in the Hall of Fame. There is no change. Nothing has changed, you know, with him going back to AEW, nothing has changed, just only the timeline. [H/T: Fightful]
