WWE Hall Of Famer Wants Finn Balor To Beat Seth Rollins At SummerSlam

A WWE Hall of Famer with over thirty years’ worth of experience in wrestling has hedged his bets for the match between Seth Rollins and Finn Balor at SummerSlam.

The feud between Rollins and Balor isn’t a new one based on current personalities fighting over a recently-created title. There is far more history between them going as far back as 2016 when the two men fought at that year’s SummerSlam to become the inaugural Universal Champion.

And while Finn Balor ended up winning that match, his reign was cursed because he was forced to relinquish the title the following night due to an injury he suffered moments into his match with Rollins at SummerSlam.

But that story doesn’t interest Bully Ray that much. Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray noted that he’s far more interested in a possible feud between stablemates Balor and Damian Priest, especially since the latter holds the Money in the Bank briefcase.

“I hope it’s Finn because the internal story of Finn and [Damian] Priest intrigues me, and Dominik and Rhea trying to have to keep them at bay.”

Additionally, Bully Ray doesn’t think that Seth Rollins has lived up to his promise of being the workhorse champion he said he’d be.

“He’s not the workhorse guy that they made us believe he was going to be.”

Seth Rollins won the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions back in May. Since then, he has had three successful title defenses, one against Balor, one against Damian Priest, and one against Bron Breakker.
