A veteran urged the WWE to hire a popular yet controversial female star. The female star in conversation is Tessa Blanchard.

Tessa Blanchard has been in the wrestling business since 2014. Aside from being the daughter of the WWE Hall of Famer, Tully Blanchard, Tessa has earned many accolades throughout her wrestling career. She first gained prominence during her time in TNA (fka Impact Wrestling) from 2018 to 2020.

Tessa Blanchard also made her return to TNA Wrestling last year, but her run lasted only a year, as she recently departed the major promotion. While she continues to perform on indies and CMLL, there are speculations that Tessa could join the WWE soon as well.

However, Tessa Blanchard is still under fire for her controversy from many years ago, where she allegedly made some racial remarks against one of her competitors. Tessa recently spoke up on the controversy while replying to a fan on X, stating the following:

I’m not perfect, made plenty of mistakes in my life.. racism is not one of them nor has that ever been in my heart. An incident from 10 years ago has continuously gotten twisted into something that race had absolutely nothing to do with because of the social climate. I’m tired of being used as click bait. Move on,” Tessa wrote.

Veteran urged WWE to sign the controversial female star

The wrestling veteran, Al Snow said he wouldn’t be surprised to see the controversial female star, Tessa Blanchard in the WWE.

Speaking with LTB&H, Al Snow also stated that with WWE now owning AAA, they could call up Tessa Blanchard after her work in CMLL, and Al also urged the Stamford-based promotion to hire Tessa:

I will not be a bit surprised to see her in WWE. With WWE now putting its tendrils down into Mexico and AAA, it would make sense that depending on what she does at CMLL and how much she utilizes that platform to make herself a draw in Mexico, that at some point in time WWE goes, ‘Hey, why don’t you come here? We want to use you in AAA and here as well and really capitalize on your talent and give you worldwide exposure, like we talked about—the number one best platform to do it.’ So they should hire her,” said Al Snow. Only time will tell what the future has in store for Tessa Blanchard.
