WWE Legend’s Daughter Was Conceived At Triple H & Stephanie’s Wedding
A legendary WWE superstar has an interesting story regarding his daughter’s birth and how it relates to Triple H & Stephanie McMahon’s wedding.
It is well known among wrestling fans that WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, and WWE’s Senior Vice President of Talent Development – Creative, Shawn Michaels, are best friends.
As wrestlers, Triple H and Michaels formed D-Generation X in 1997 after being close friends behind the scenes. They would go on to have some memorable matches against eachother and also had success as Tag Team Champions as well.
When Triple H married Stephanie McMahon in October 2023, Michaels was the best man at the wedding. That wasn’t all, though, because Stephanie and Michaels revealed on her “What’s Your Story?” story podcast that Shawn’s daughter, Cheyenne, was conceived during the weekend of Triple H and Stephanie’s wedding.
Michaels: “Cheyenne, you call her Shug, but nobody.”
McMahon: “Was conceived at my wedding, just saying. My daughter told me that that’s a gross thing to say. And I’m like, why?”
Michaels: “Well, our kids, they know it all, and yeah, grosses them out too. But yes, she was. First time in a long time, Rebecca and I got to get away.”
McMahon: “You made the most of it.”
Michaels: “Another wonderful surprise.”
Cheyenne was born in August 2024. As for the birth of his son Cameron, Michaels revealed that he and his wife Rebecca had him in January 2000, and it wasn’t necessarily planned.
“We’ve never really planned anything. We’ve gone where we feel like the good Lord leads us and what doors open for us, we go ahead and roll through.
I leave and go to work. The next day, I come back and I say, I want to try some of that almond butter. And she’s like, where is it? She goes, I ate it all. Okay. It’s all right. Can I get some of the pecan butter? I ate all that too. I’ve been cleaning all day. She said, I think I’m nesting.” (H/T Wrestlingnewsco)
Triple H Changed After Being Friends With Shawn Michaels
When Triple H joined WWE in 1995, Shawn Michaels was a superstar on the rise who would become a main eventer that year and a first-time WWE Champion in 1996.
Ahmed Johnson is a former WWE Intercontinental Champion who claims that Triple H changed a lot after becoming friends with Michaels, Kevin Nash (Diesel), Scott Hall (Razor Ramon), and X-Pac.
“At first when I met Triple H, he wasn’t a member of the Kliq. When he was Hunter Hearst Helmsley, he was great. He guided me through a couple of matches. You know, like when we were in the ring, he told me what we should do.
“I listened to him and did it and it helped get me over, but then after he got with the Kliq, oh Jesus, you talked about a monster being born. He wasn’t himself anymore. He wasn’t himself. He didn’t talk to the boys or hang out with the boys. He just wasn’t himself anymore. He became Shawn Michaels’ little Kliq and that was it. He let Shawn do all the dirty work for him.”
