Veteran To Female WWE Talent: “Straddling Triple H Is Total Inappropriate Behavior”

WWE Triple H open mouthed

Veteran Vince Russo calls out Triple H and a female WWE star for “inappropriate behavior.”

Netflix released the second season of WWE Unreal 2 on January 20, and since its debut, social media has been flooded with clips and backstage moments showcasing behind-the-scenes interactions from the new season.

One moment that has garnered significant attention among the WWE Universe occurs in the fourth episode, which centers around the all-women’s wrestling live event Evolution.

Following her match with Rhea Ripley, which saw Naomi cash in her Money in the Bank contract to become the Women’s World Champion, IYO SKY is shown returning to the gorilla position, where she embraces WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H in an emotional display of excitement.

Visibly overwhelmed with joy, SKY jumps into Triple H’s arms, a moment that has sparked mixed reactions online. While many fans viewed it as a genuine and heartfelt interaction, others, including former WWE writer Vince Russo, criticized the exchange.

Vince Russo Says Triple H and IYO SKY’s Backstage Behavior Is “Totally Unacceptable”

Taking to his X account, Russo questioned the professionalism of the moment, calling out both Triple H and the Genius of the SKY and stating that such behavior was inappropriate in a professional setting.

Russo tweeted:

“Sorry, guys, a female talent jumping in the arms of her Boss and literally STRADDLING HIM is TOTAL INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR—BOTH behind closed doors and in front of other talent.

No.1—the Crew of Professional Females I work with at @jcwlunacy would NEVER even think of conducting themselves in that matter.

No. 2—they would know that based on who I am and how I professionally conduct and carry myself that it would be totally inappropriate.

No. 3—Yes—there would be disciplinary actions. The confusing thing to me is how does Triple H conduct his business with the female wrestlers on the @WWE
roster to make them believe that this kind of behavior is acceptable? That really is the curious part to me.

Was “said wrestler” excited? Obviously she was, but does that make it ok? I don’t remember ever jumping in the arms of Dixie Carter @ThisIsTNA when a show I wrote drew us over 2 million people.

Say whatever you want to say about me—totally, totally unacceptable. Yes—there will be TONS MORE on http://Patreon.com/RussoTWC.”

WWE has decided to renew the docuseries for a third season.
