WWE Star Wins First Match On RAW In 532 Days
WWE RAW featured a couple of massive returns tonight, airing live from CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. The night began with Roman Reigns making a comeback after missing last week’s show.
He explosively began the night as he officially welcomed Jacob Fatu into the Bloodline and then allowed him to unleash a vicious assault on comedian and actor Eric Andre.
Another massive moment on the show that the WWE Universe witnessed tonight was the in-ring return of Chad Gable, who took on Rusev following their confrontation on the red brand last week.
Chad Gable returns to winning ways on WWE RAW
Ever since he lost the Mask vs Mask match to El Grande Americano at AAA’s Noche de Los Grandes, Gable has been apologizing to every luchador he disrespected during his time under the mask.
He came to Rey Mysterio’s rescue last week after Rusev had unmasked the WWE Hall of Famer, leading to their match tonight. The Bulgarian Brute was all over Gable in their match, with Ethan Page getting in a few shots as well.

Gable was constantly battling both men and almost lost the match due to that. He had Rusev locked in the ankle lock when Page tried to interfere, and Gable attacked him. This allowed Rusev to get back in with a Matchka Kick, but Rusev kicked out at two.
He then had Gable locked in the Accolade, but the former Alpha Academy leader got out of it. He then took hold of his leg and grabbed Rusev in the ankle lock again to pick up his first win on RAW in 532 days, with his last one coming over Otis on December 30, 2024.
