Ex-WWE Champion Tops The Bloodline For Merch Sales

The Bloodline WWE

The Bloodline might be running the show on Friday Night SmackDown but now a former WWE Champion has moved them into second place as WWE’s top merchandise seller for now.

The Bloodline has spent 2022 cementing itself as one of the most dominant factions of all time in WWE. Roman Reigns, ably assisted but his Special Counsel Paul Heyman has dominated as Universal Champion for over two years but tightened his grip on WWE when he became Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at WrestleMania 38.

The Usos have maintained the same grip over WWE’s tag team ranks, unifying both the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships when they defeated RK-Bro back in May. Solo Sikoa made his presence felt as he ensured Roman Reigns left Clash at the Castle with his titles intact and nobody can ignore the ‘Honorary Uce’ Sami Zayn who is at the very top of his entertaining game.

With their dominance in WWE, it’s no wonder that The Bloodline has found itself at the top of the charts as relates to WWE merchandise sales. But now, there’s seemingly a change in that statistic.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer recently reported that Drew McIntyre recently overtook The Bloodline into first place in merch sales. Meltzer also suggests that an expected return to WWE could see a new number one in the coming weeks:

”McIntyre has some momentum as two weeks ago his merch was No. 1 in the company. Bloodline these days is the perennial No. 1 and I presume coming out of the gates that the Wyatt stuff will probably sell big.”

Drew McIntyre has moved on from his Clash at the Castle defeat to feud with Karrion Kross. The two men will meet in a Strap Match at Extreme Rules.
