WWE Star Officially Given New Ring Name
This young star recently confirmed that a name the company has trademarked was for her character.
WWE decides on in-ring character names for wrestlers that suit their gimmicks and trademarks them at the US Patent and Trademark Office to reserve the name for a particular wrestler.
Once a wrestler’s name is changed, they change their social media handles to reflect the new name.
Myka Lockwood is the latest name trademarked by WWE, and it was for Bayley Humphrey from their NIL Developmental.
Lockwood changed her social media handle and confirmed that the recently trademarked name was for her character.
That’s a killer of a name if I say so myself.
