WWE Star Lent Nikki Bella Walking Boot At WrestleMania
Nikki Bella asked this WWE star for a favour at WWE WrestleMania 42.
Nikki Bella injured her ankle on WWE Raw a few weeks ago and had to pull out of a fatal four-way match for the Women’s Tag Team Titles, which she was to compete in alongside her sister Brie Bella.
Nikki wasn’t medically cleared for the bout and came out to the ramp with a crutch and wearing a walking boot. She introduced her replacement, Paige, who made her WWE return at the Showcase of the Immortals and went on to win the Tag Team Titles with Brie Bella.
Nikki was seen with a walking boot that was red in color to match her attire. She revealed on the Nikki & Brie Show that WWE Star Chelsea Green, who also suffered an ankle injury on SmackDown in February, lent her her boot. The boot was painted red to match Nikki Bella’s attire.
I texted Chelsea Green, ‘Girl, can I borrow your boot?’ She said yes. She told me ‘zhuzh is up a little bit more.’ They painted it red and I was like, ‘Oh my God, Chelsea, so your boot is red now.’
Chelsea Green quipped to her husband, Matt Cardona, that even though she wasn’t on the WrestleMania card, she technically was at WrestleMania because Nikki was wearing her walking boot.
We ran into her and Matt after and she was like, ‘I didn’t think I was going to make WrestleMania and I told Matt, technically, I was on WrestleMania because my boot was on it.’
Even though the size was smaller for Nikki’s foot, she managed to wear it, but she says it squeezed into her stitches.
I tried it on before, she’s a 7 and a half. When I put my foot in, I’m a size nine. It didn’t feel good. My stitches were still in because I got them out after the match and it was pushing really hard on the stitches.
Nikki Bella Is Set To Return To WWE in Six To Eight Months
Nikki is eyeing a return in six to eight months after rehabilitating her injured ankle.
She was reunited with her sister Brie Bella, who returned at the Royal Rumble PLE in January before the pair announced they would compete for tag team gold.
Before Brie’s return, Nikki was on a singles run, feuding for the Women’s World Championship with Stephanie Vaquer.
Chelsea Green, meanwhile, lost her United States Championship to Giulia in January of 2026 and suffered an ankle injury in February during an Elimination Chamber qualifying bout on SmackDown.
She has been making television appearances in a wheelchair wearing a walking boot since.
