A top WWE star was recently pulled from a major match after sustaining an injury.

Chelsea Green and Ethan Page were scheduled to defend their AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship against Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana on the February 7 edition of AAA on FOX, but Green never made it to the venue.

When Page FaceTimed Green to ask the reason for her absence, Green revealed that she couldn’t make it to the show because she sustained a foot injury and showed herself wearing an orthopedic walking boot.

Green suffered the foot injury on the February 6, 2026 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, where she competed in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match against Tiffany Stratton and Lash Legend, which Stratton won.

Due to the injury, Green was pulled from the tag team match, and La Hiedra replaced her as Page’s partner. However, the new duo lost the match, and Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana went on to become the new AAA World Mixed Tag Team Champions.

Chelsea Green Was Legitimately Angry At WWE Executive

During an episode of season two of WWE Unreal, WWE executive Michael Hayes commented on Chelsea Green’s status and future in the company. He stated that while Green is entertaining, she is not built for a main-event role like Charlotte Flair or Tiffany Stratton.

Speaking on the Reality Check podcast, Green admitted that Hayes’ remarks deeply hurt her and that she was legitimately upset by them.

It’s crazy because I’m a self-aware human being. So I know my kind of place on the totem pole in this fake hierarchy that is wrestling. But to actually hear it… to actually hear that there was a ceiling put on me—it’s different.

You can’t help but be p*ssed off and a little upset and just aggravated at the fact that you thought that there was maybe a chance that there wasn’t that ceiling—that maybe it was all in your head. And it wasn’t confirmed to me. It was confirmed on national television.

Hayes’ controversial WWE Unreal comments about Green have garnered a lot of heat from those who believe Green is talented and deserves a main event push.
