WWE Star Appears On SmackDown After Publicly Calling Out Creative
A WWE star appeared on tonight’s episode of SmackDown right after expressing his frustration with his booking.
Rey Fenix last wrestled on the blue brand in April when he participated in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal ahead of WrestleMania 42. Meanwhile, his last appearance on SmackDown was backstage during The Gingerbread Man’s funeral.
The 35-year-old has since wrestled only twice on Main Event and in AAA. The former AEW International Champion recently took to X to call out creative for not giving him an opportunity, sparking rumors about his future. Some fans even wondered if he was on his way out of the company.

Rey Fenix Appears On WWE SmackDown Following His Comments
Just days after expressing frustration with his booking, Rey Fenix appeared on tonight’s episode of SmackDown in a backstage segment with General Manager Nick Aldis.
During the segment, Aldis told Fenix that he was impressed with what the 35-year-old has been doing in AAA. In response, Fenix said he has sights set on something big.
The Mexican star also confronted Sami Zayn after Aldis denied Zayn another United States Championship opportunity and labeled him “entitled.”
Fenix: Hey, what’s going on with you?
Zayn: Me? Nothing’s going on with me. Rey, I’m the same Sami I’ve always been. It’s everyone else and everything around here that’s changing.
Fenix: I don’t even recognize you, bro. Come on.
