WWE SmackDown Star “Leading Candidate” For Money In The Bank
With WrestleMania in the rearview mirror, many fans will be looking to WWE’s next annual staple when Money In The Bank comes to London, England for the first time.
Money In The Bank 2023 will take place in the O2 Arena in London, England as WWE brings a major show to the UK for the second year in a row following the success of Clash at the Castle in September 2022.
While winning the Money In The Bank briefcase was almost a guarantee of winning WWE Championship gold in the past, that is not always the case these days with Austin Theory becoming the fifth man to fail in his cash-in attempt – although bizarrely, he tried to cash in on then-US Champion, Seth Rollins.
The championship win rate for women Money In The Bank winners remains 100% with Liv Morgan becoming the third woman (out of five) to cash in the contract on the same night she won it in 2022.
Much like the Royal Rumble before it, Money In The Bank can propel a star that has been toiling and turn them into a top contender in WWE. And if a new report is to be believed, it looks like the company could planning to do just that in London.
WRKD Wrestling has now reported that LA Knight is among the front runners to win the 2023 men’s Money In The Bank match:

On SmackDown in Lincoln, Nebraska, LA Knight lost to Xavier Woods in a singles match – his second loss to Woods in the space of a month.
