WWE Slammed Over Rhea Ripley: “That’s Unbelievable”

Rhea Ripley is one of the most popular stars in WWE.

She is a three-time world champion, her latest reign lasting 56 days from January 6 to March 3, 2025.

Since then, Ripley has unsuccessfully contested for the title multiple times. At SummerSlam, she was involved in a triple threat match against Naomi and Iyo Sky.

Naomi retained her championship after she pinned Rhea Ripley.

On the August 11 episode of WWE RAW, she was featured on TV with Iyo Sky, but only for a few seconds, drawing the ire of a former head writer for the Stamford promotion.

Vince Russo, who appeared on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge’s Legion of RAW podcast, called the segment ‘unbelievable,’ as he tore into the company’s poor booking of the former champion.

Rhea is probably the biggest female star they have on this show, and that’s what she did on this show. That’s it, guys. That’s it in a nutshell.

She’s probably the most over female on RAW, and she’s got a 30-second vignette in the back in a two-and-a-half-hour show. That’s unbelievable to me because if I’m writing this show like that, [she] is a weapon. You know that’s a card I’m playing. I mean she’s got a big, big part in the show, and that’s how you use her. Rhea Ripley Shares Creepy Stalker Incident

On Valentine’s Day, Rhea Ripley was visited by a female stalker; luckily, she was in Australia at the time and not in the United States.

She narrated the incident during an appearance on the Cheap Heat podcast.

I had someone rock up on Valentine’s Day, this past Valentine’s Day. And luckily I was in Australia ’cause like she just stared into my Ring camera. She left a poem under my doormat, saying that like we’re the sun and the moon and we’re meant to be together. If I was home, I would have answered the door and I would have been so uncomfortable.

And I don’t want to feel uncomfortable in my own damn house. Like, that’s just not okay. Everyone should have their space to like go home and relax and not have to worry about someone random looking through your window or knocking on your door.
