Rhea Ripley Reveals What Happened When A Stalker Went To Her House
Rhea Ripley has shared what happened when a fan went to her house.
The life of a WWE superstar is unique as a celebrity. Rhea Ripley’s real name is Demi Bennett, yet everywhere she goes, she’ll get approached by people who’ll call her Ripley. It’s not like that for an actor in a TV show or a movie, but it is for a WWE superstar using a stage name.
Unfortunately for WWE superstars like Ripley, some fans take things a little too far and become obsessed with wrestlers. Sometimes it can even get violent, or they can do something weird due to their obsession with a character.
During an appearance on the Cheap Heat podcast, Rhea Ripley shared an incident where a female fan visited her house and left a note. Thankfully, Ripley was home in Australia instead of the US at the time.
“I had someone rock up on Valentine’s Day, this past Valentine’s Day. And luckily I was in Australia ’cause like she just stared into my Ring camera. She left a poem under my doormat, saying that like we’re the sun and the moon and we’re meant to be together. If I was home, I would have answered the door and I would have been so uncomfortable.
And I don’t want to feel uncomfortable in my own damn house. Like, that’s just not okay. Everyone should have their space to like go home and relax and not have to worry about someone random looking through your window or knocking on your door.”
Rhea Ripley Feels Like Some WWE Fans Own Them
As she continued, Rhea Ripley made the point that some fans feel like they have this power over WWE superstars, but Ripley doesn’t stand for that.
“They just forget, some not all of them, but some of them do think that they own us because we are on live television weekly. And I don’t stand for that. I’m a human being as well, I grew up like everyone else, I live like everyone else. I don’t want random people rocking up at my door to like mark out over me.”
Rhea Ripley challenged for the Women’s World Title at WWE SummerSlam against the champion Naomi and former champion Iyo Sky. Unfortunately for Ripley, Naomi rolled her up for the pinfall win after Ripley hit a huge Riptide on Sky and tried to win the match.
