WWE Reportedly Scraps Major Match From WrestleMania 42 Plans
A new report claims that this particular match has been erased from the WrestleMania 42 card.
The identity crisis storyline between El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) and the original El Grande Americano (Chad Gable) has been taking shape for months now on Raw.
The two have competed in multiple matches on WWE TV, taking the storyline forward with Gable’s original calling Kaiser’s fake one out as an imposter.
A match between the two stars was expected at WrestleMania 42; however, a new report says that’s not going to happen.
El Grande Americano Vs Original El Grande Americano Moved From WWE WrestleMania 42 to AAA: Worldwide
AAA: Worldwide is WWE’s Spanish sister promotion.
In a new report from Wrestling Observer Live, Brian Alvarez says that WWE has plans to do the El Grande Americano bout in AAA, and they even have a date planned. It will be a mask vs mask match.
What happened to El Grande Americano vs. Original El Grande Americano at WrestleMania 42? Well, apparently, the El Grande vs. El Grande match is going to happen for AAA. They’ve got a date booked for that match, so they’re not doing a mask vs. mask match between those two guys at WrestleMania — they’re saving that for AAA.
