Sami Zayn has been announced for a huge match coming up this week on Smackdown against a member of The Bloodline.

A big match has been announced for the March 3rd edition of Smackdown airing tonight from Washington, DC. This afternoon, WWE announced on social media that Sami will face his former friend in The Bloodline group, Solo Sikoa.

Prior to Zayn getting kicked out of The Bloodline at the Royal Rumble for refusing to attack a helpless Kevin Owens, Zayn worked well together with Solo Sikoa including tag team match victories for them

On the preview of Smackdown, it says this about the Zayn-Solo match.

“With Roman Reigns returning to SmackDown and the threat of Sami Zayn still very much at the forefront, Solo Sokoa will surely be out to obliterate The Master Strategist from the blue band once and for all.”

“What does The Bloodline have in store for Zayn? If Jey Uso shows up on SmackDown, where will his allegiance be?

“Don’t miss all the action of the Friday Night SmackDown, tonight at 8/7 C on FOX.”

Also on Smackdown this week, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will be in the building for the first time with Zayn since their epic match at Elimination Chamber where Zayn nearly beat Reigns for his two championships.

While Reigns will have his hands full trying to repair the issues within The Bloodline, Roman will also have to deal with his WrestleMania 39 opponent Cody Rhodes, who announced on Raw that he would be at Smackdown this week too.

Sami Zayn is currently not a part of the WrestleMania card, but persistent rumors have stated that he will likely be teaming with best friend Kevin Owens against The Usos for the WWE Tag Team Titles, but the storyline isn’t at a point where it can be announced yet.

There is also a women’s match advertised for Smackdown with Rhea Ripley facing Liv Morgan in singles action.

Find out what happens later tonight on Smackdown for Solo Sikoa’s match with Sami Zayn tonight on Fox (if you’re in the US) and read all about it right here on TJRWrestling as usual.
