WWE has reportedly signed Dean Malenko’s daughter, Marie Malenko.

Dean, who was a former 2-time Light Heavyweight Champion in the Stamford promotion, currently serves as AEW’s senior producer.

He has been signed with the Jacksonville-based company since 2019, even making sporadic on-screen appearances.

According to a recent report by Bodyslam+, Marie Malenko has joined WWE and is expected to report to the Performance Center soon.

Marie made her professional wrestling debut at Pro Wrestling Noah’s Monday Magic on February 2, 2026. That same month, she participated in a WWE tryout at the PC.

The Triple H-led promotion has yet to provide an official update on the topic. Elsewhere, while speaking on Signed By Superstars, Dean revealed that wheels were in motion for his daughter to be signed.

WWE Recently Signed Nikki Blackheart

WWE has been on a recruitment spree owing to the internal movement of talent between different brands.

Earlier, PWInsider reported the signings of Ahmed Essam, Delia Schweizer, and Ellen B. Akesson.

While Essam is a two-time African champion and two-time Arab wrestling champion, Akesson is a world champion in arm wrestling, a power lifter, and an online personality from Sweden. Schweizer, on the other hand, is a German CrossFit athlete with a world ranking.

Shortly afterward, the company hired Nikki Blackheart, who has competed in the independent circuit and has consistently performed for CCW in Florida since joining the promotion in 2024. She also performs in MPX, where she is the reigning MPX Women’s Champion.

Like Marie Malenko, she too had participated in the tryout and was offered a contract.
