WWE RAW Sees The Usos Retain Gold As Jimmy Pushes Jey Toward Main Event

The opening match of WWE RAW tonight saw The Usos defend their World Tag Team Championships against the Alpha Academy, after the latter won a number one contender’s match.

Both Otis and Akira Tozawa put on a great showing to get to the title match, and they knew that they would have to put on a similar shift if they were to win the tag team belts.

The Usos started the match with a quick handshake with their challengers before proceeding to have a gruesome match with the Alpha Academy.

Otis and Tozawa pushed the champions to their limit, and Tozawa put on an excellent show as he even came close to winning the match for his team, only for Jey to kick out at the last second.

The Usos picked up the win after a 1D on Otis and retained their belts. They shared a moment of respect with their opponents before Jimmy Uso had an interesting message for his tag team partner.

Jimmy urged Jey to make his return to the ‘main event’ and urged him to win the Elimination Chamber later this month and challenge for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
