Major WWE Star Expected To Become Double World Champion
A major WWE star is tipped to hold two world championships simultaneously come this summer.
Liv Morgan captured the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania by defeating Stephanie Vaquer. Despite surpassing 60 days as champion, The Judgment Day member has not yet defended her title.
Meanwhile, the 32-year-old surprisingly entered the Queen of the Ring tournament. She qualified for the semi-finals after beating Becky Lynch, Chelsea Green, and the Women’s Intercontinental Champion, Sol Ruca, in a Fatal 4-Way match. Morgan then took advantage of an injured Charlotte Flair to book her ticket to the final.
Liv Morgan Will Win Queen Of The Ring, Predicts Ex-WWE Writer
Liv Morgan is now scheduled to square off with IYO SKY in the Queen of the Ring tournament final this Saturday at Night of Champions in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
On a recent episode of his Wrestling with Freddie podcast, former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. shared his prediction for the highly anticipated match, speculating that Morgan would emerge victorious. He even suggested the company could put the WWE Women’s Championship on her as well if Rhea Ripley is injured.
It feels like they’re painted into a corner. And there’s no way IYO can win because who wants to watch IYO wrestle her best friend Rhea Ripley again when they’re bros? It’s like if there was a betrayal there, I would get it. But when you’re bros, you’re bros. Like, bros don’t fight.
So, to me, it’s an easy pick with Liv Morgan and I guess maybe Rhea’s hurt and they’re gonna put two belts on Liv until Stephanie Vaquer gets back, which I guess will be the new story and hopefully they can make it work. But it’s been very confusing to me thus far. The only thing to me that seems obvious is that Liv Morgan’s going to win. [16:56 onwards]
