WWE Raw Match No Longer Advertised

One of the matches that WWE was advertising for the July 10th edition of Monday Night Raw may no longer be taking place.

For the past three months, Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus have been having a lot of issues due to Stratus turning on Lynch when they were a tag team. Since then, they have gotten into brawls, exchanged plenty of words, got bruises on their faces and it has shown no signs of slowing down.

At WWE Night of Champions on May 27th in Saudi Arabia, Lynch faced Stratus in a singles match. Zoey Stark, who is a newcomer on Raw, was hiding under the ring and she hit Lynch with Z360 knee to the face while the referee was checking on Stratus. That led to Stratus capitalizing with Stratusfaction for the pinfall win.

Since that match at Night of Champions, Stratus & Stark have been aligned while Lynch has kept fighting back against them. All three women were in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, but it was IYO SKY that left as the winner.

On last week’s July 3rd episode of Raw, Lynch exchanged words with Stratus & Stark again. While Stratus was dealing with a facial injury, a match was set up with Becky Lynch set to face Zoey Stark on tonight’s July 10th Raw from Buffalo.

It has now been reported that Lynch is dealing with an injury so the match likely isn’t taking place as scheduled, according to @WRKDWrestling on Twitter.

“Becky Lynch has suffered an injury and is currently waiting to be cleared. As a result, Becky Lynch vs. Zoey Stark will not be taking place on #WWERaw.”

Shortly after that tweet, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful tweeted that Lynch isn’t cleared, but it could change. It’s not a major injury.

“Regarding Becky Lynch vs. Zoey Stark being pulled from WWE’s website, we’re told Becky Lynch isn’t cleared at the moment, but that could change. The injury isn’t major, and the match could end up being added back to the show or moved.”

It is expected that Becky Lynch will face Trish Stratus match again in a singles match at SummerSlam on August 5th in Detroit, but it’s not official yet.

For what it’s worth, Trish Stratus was still tweeting about the “Stark Attack” that Lynch will suffer at the hands of Zoey Stark on Raw.

UPDATE: At 7:37 p.m. (23 minutes before Raw), WWE tweeted that Lynch will face Stark, so the match is on.
