WWE Planning To Add At Least 2 More Matches To WrestleMania 42 Card
The WWE WrestleMania 42 card in Las Vegas is nearly complete, but some matches will still be added.
By the end of the March 30th edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, 12 matches were official for WrestleMania 42, aka WrestleMania Vegas. It’s the second year in a row that WrestleMania is taking place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter‘s Dave Meltzer, two more matches are expected to be added to the card because WWE wants to have 14 matches over the two nights of WrestleMania on April 18 & April 19.
IShowSpeed, Logan Paul & Austin Theory vs. LA Knight & The Usos
IYO SKY vs. Asuka
The angle with World Tag Team Champions Logan Paul & Austin Theory started on the March 30th edition of WWE Raw when Speed punched Knight while wearing brass knuckles on his hand. Speed “accidentally” knocked Knight down after that. Paul also punched Jimmy with brass knuckles, which led Theory to use one arm to cover Jimmy and win the match. Jey Uso was hitting a dive on Paul, so he was unable to make a save.
As for Iyo Sky and Asuka, that would be a matchup between two former Women’s Champions who haven’t seen eye to eye for a long time. Meanwhile, Kairi Sane continues to get bossed around by Asuka, so it’s possible that match leads to Sane finally having enough of Asuka’s bullying.
WWE WrestleMania To Feature At Least 8 Title Matches
There were rumors that Giulia would defend the Women’s US Title against Tiffany Stratton at WrestleMania 42, but that wasn’t mentioned in Meltzer’s report. Without that match, there are still eight championship matches set for WrestleMania.
WrestleMania 42 will take place on April 18 & April 19 in Las Vegas. Here’s the lineup so far:

- Unsanctioned Match: Drew McIntyre vs. Jacob Fatu
- Women’s Intercontinental Championship: AJ Lee (c) vs. Becky Lynch
- United States Championship: Sami Zayn (c) vs. Trick Williams
- Seth Rollins vs. Gunther
- Finn Balor vs. Dominik Mysterio
- Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match: Penta (c) vs. Je’Von Evans vs. Dragon Lee vs. Rusev vs. JD McDonagh
- Women’s Tag Team Championships: Irresistible Forces – Nia Jax & Lash Legend (c) vs. Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs. The Bella Twins – Nikki & Brie Bella vs. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria

WrestleMania 42 will STREAM LIVE Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT on ESPN in the United States and Netflix everywhere else.
