WWE Officially Announces Blockbuster WrestleMania Rematch For Clash In Italy

WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley kicked off tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown and called out Jade Cargill for her actions ever since The Storm returned to the promotion.

Jade hadn’t been seen since losing her title to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 42, before making an appearance a few weeks ago and targeting Rhea Ripley once again. This confirmed that things between the two are far from over.

The Women’s Champion tonight made a huge decision over her WWE future and challenged Jade to a major match at the promotion’s first-ever Premium Live Event in Italy.

Ripley stated that Jade’s attack on her confirms her intentions of going after Rhea’s World Championship, and instead of waiting for Jade to challenge her officially, Rhea made the first move instead.

She challenged Jade and agreed to put her title on the line at Clash In Italy before being interrupted by Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss during her opening promo.

Shortly after Ripley’s challenger, WWE’s Chief Content Officer, Paul “Triple H” Levesque, made the match official for Clash In Italy and confirmed the same on social media.
