WWE Icon Nikki Bella’s Ex-Husband Facing Dating Issues Due To A Serious Reason
WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella filed for divorce from her ex-husband, Artem Chigvintsev, in September 2024.
Artem recently appeared on the Glamorous Grind podcast, where he revealed that the publicity surrounding his arrest has made the dating world very uncomfortable for him.
Artem Chigvintsev Opens Up About Dating World After Divorce From Nikki Bella
According to Artem, whenever a potential partner searches his name online, they immediately come across his mugshot. He added that he often has to explain the situation to people, which he finds very exhausting.
“But even the dating world isn’t that simple. I’m not dating right now, but I’ve had conversations with people, and the first thing that comes up when they Google me is my mugshot. Then you have to explain yourself, and honestly, I don’t want to do that. It’s uncomfortable.”
“I don’t have the time to keep explaining myself, and I don’t feel like I need to. I don’t judge people like that. But if someone Googles me, the first thing they see is my mugshot. Imagine how people feel when they see that. If I went on a date with someone and Googled them and saw a mugshot, of course I’d want to talk about it.”
“But being on the other side of it is exhausting. It’s draining even getting to that point. That’s just the reality. If you keep focusing on how unfair it is, you’ll just end up feeling sorry for yourself. And honestly, when it comes to dating and things like that, I don’t even know how people find the time for it.”
Following the divorce, Nikki Bella and her ex-husband are co-parenting their son, Matteo.
