A men’s four-way tag team match has been confirmed for WrestleMania 39 with WWE announcing the four teams that are taking part in the match.

An official announcement has been made by WWE regarding the four men’s tag teams that will be competing in a “Men’s WrestleMania Showcase Match” at WrestleMania 39 on April 1st or April 2nd at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

This was originally reported by Wrestlevotes a few days ago, which we covered here. The four teams in the match are:

* The Street Profits – Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins.

* Braun Strowman & Ricochet.

* Alpha Academy – Chad Gable & Otis, who is backed by the Maximum Male Models now.

* Viking Raiders – Erik & Ivar

Three of the four teams are former WWE Tag Team Champions while Strowman & Ricochet have yet to win tag team gold, but they have challenged for them in the past.

Here’s how WWE is advertising it on their website.

“In one of two WrestleMania Showcase matches to occur at The Grandest Stage of Them All, four of the most impressive tag teams in WWE will collide in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match.

Braun Strowman & Ricochet, The Street Profits, Alpha Academy and The Viking Raiders will battle in Los Angeles at The Showcase of the Immortals. Each of the four teams have recently had opportunities at the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Titles, with three of the four teams having held tag team gold.

With Otis of Alpha Academy starting his modeling career with Maximum Male Models, how will Alpha Academy be a cohesive unit against the other teams?

The Viking Raiders, while perhaps being the most dominant team out of the four, will be making their WrestleMania debuts, upping the ante for Erik and Ivar.

Which team will showcase their talent and come out on top at WrestleMania?”

It does not state if the winners will get a title shot or any kind of reward for winning the match.

That means the official WrestleMania 39 lineup looks like this right now with more to come.

* Undisputed WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes

* Smackdown Women’s Championship: Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Rhea Ripley

* United States Championship: Austin Theory (c) vs. John Cena

* Raw Women’s Championship: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Asuka

* Hell in a Cell Match: Edge vs. Finn Balor

* Seth “Freakin” Rollins vs. Logan Paul

* Intercontinental Championship: GUNTHER (c) vs. Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre

* Damage CTRL – Bayley, IYO SKY & Dakota Kai vs. Trish Stratus, Becky Lynch & Lita

* Brock Lesnar vs. Omos

* Men’s Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match – The Street Profits vs. Braun Strowman & Ricochet vs. Alpha Academy vs. Viking Raiders

* Women’s Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match: Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan vs. three other teams.

The Miz will host WrestleMania.
