Logan Paul’s latest pursuit of securing a boxing match came crashing down after WWE officials intervened.

A couple of days ago, Paul put out a tweet on X, challenging elite NFL players to a boxing match with $1 million as prize money.

The tweet received immediate traction, with the likes of Buffalo Bills offensive lineman Dion Dawkins, former running back Le’Veon Bell, and former defensive lineman Breiden Fehoko accepting the challenge.

It was followed by several heated online exchanges between Logan Paul and the aforementioned players.

Paul was recently live streaming with his pals when he got a call from one of the WWE officials, who told him to call off the challenge.

The official cited the fast-approaching WrestleMania 42 as the reason behind the ban. He said that the fight was an unnecessary risk and the company could not afford him getting injured.

We don’t want to risk any injury… we just would prefer for you not to be boxing.

Paul initially seemed agitated, claiming that the NFL players posed no risk to him as they could not box. However, he complied owing to his loyalty to the Stamford promotion.

Logan Paul’s WWE Stablemates Sidelined Due To Injuries

The turn of the year was to witness The Vision get pushed into the main event picture.

However, injuries to Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed put both wrestlers on the shelf, forcing the WWE creative team to scrap earlier storylines and pivot.

As for Logan Paul, he is expected to have a match at WrestleMania 42 against Seth Rollins, who attacked him at the Elimination Chamber. Of course, the bout would go ahead only when Rollins achieves full fitness after being sidelined in October.
