WWE Make Major Changes To Raw Star’s Plans After Impressive Run

Triple H WWE Draft

A rising WWE star is set for superstardom.

Bron Breakker was the first big project of NXT 2.0 when it launched in September 2021, and he seems destined for the very top. The son of Rick Steiner defeated LA Knight on debut and went on to win the NXT Title twice, before winning tag team gold alongside Baron Corbin.

Since turning heel in 2023, Breakker’s career has soared to a whole new level, and he arrived on the main roster in dominant form on SmackDown. However, his stint on the blue brand turned out to be brief as he moved to Raw as part of the Draft.

Following the switch, Breakker has gone up another gear, repeatedly taking out Ricochet, while demolishing Ilja Dragunov. On the June 3rd episode of the show, Breakker took on and defeated Ricochet in brutal fashion as he continues his rise to the main event.

According to a new report from Wrestle Votes, that rise to the main event could come sooner rather than later. WWE is said to have changed its plans for the second-generation star, and he’s seen as a “major focus” as the company becomes part of Netflix in January 2025.

I’m told WWE has considerably altered its creative plans for Bron Breakker. The 2nd generation superstar has impressed many higher-ups in his short stint on RAW. A source states Breakker is slated to be a major focus heading into the Netflix era. ‘With his age, speed, look, and pedigree, this rare combination of talents isn’t to be overlooked,’ said the source.

WWE Looking To Add AEW Star?

Meanwhile, it’s been reported that WWE has an interest in signing another AEW star. Not content with adding Ethan Page to their ranks in recent weeks, the company is looking to add Penta El Zero Miedo to its roster.

Penta’s contract will reportedly expire at some point in August or September and he won’t be short of offers should he become a free agent.
