A WWE legend recently discussed a possible comeback to in-ring competition.

Lita, real name Amy Dumas, last competed at WrestleMania 39, where she teamed up with fellow Hall of Famer Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch to take on Damage CTRL (Bayley, Iyo Sky, and Dakota Kai).

The match ended in a victory for the babyfaces and was also Lita’s first WrestleMania win ever.

A couple of months before WWE WrestleMania 39, Dumas and Lynch had won the Women’s Tag Team Championship by defeating Damage CTRL on an episode of Raw and were scheduled to defend it on the night after the Showcase of the Immortals against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

However, during the show, she was attacked backstage by a mystery individual, forcing Stratus to take her place in the title defense.

Not only did Lynch and Stratus lose the titles, but Stratus also turned on Lynch, revealing herself as Lita’s attacker days later.

Lita Recalls Weird End To Last WWE Run While Teasing Comeback

Lita is a 4-time WWE Women’s Champion and one of the greatest female athletes to have competed for the Stamford promotion.

During a recent interview with the Toronto Sun, she was asked if she was content with how her last run ended and whether she was keen on a comeback. The 50-year-old said that she was not ruling out a return.

I feel complete. I was really happy to have the singles match with Becky (Lynch) and then to be able to get in there Trish (Stratus) and Becky and go against Damage CTRL.

It was pretty awesome and I feel very satisfied in that, but, it was a little weird the way it ended where I had this really fun, celebratory match at WrestleMania and then the next thing I know, they’re like, ‘Oh, by the way, you’re just gonna be laying on the ground and we don’t need you anymore’ and I was like, ‘Oh, okay.’ It felt complete and then it didn’t. Just the way things kind of ended.

Am I still satisfied with all I’ve accomplished and even just the stuff I’ve been able to do post-full-time run? Absolutely. But, yeah, I wouldn’t rule it out if the right opportunity came because I still feel really good and there’s so much talent out there. It’s always fun to mix it up with the current roster.
