WWE Legend Calls On Triple H To Induct “Half Brother” Into The Hall Of Fame
With WrestleMania fast approaching, people in the wrestling industry are having their say about who should get inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Recently, the late Dynamite Kid’s daughter started a Change.org petition to get her father added to the WWE Hall of Fame, as it would cement his legacy.
Explaining her reasoning, Bronwyne Billington said that her father’s contributions were well-recognized in the industry and his exclusion would be a massive oversight.
Dynamite Kid performed in the Stamford promotion between 1984 and 1988, during which he won the WWF Tag Team Championship once with his cousin Davey Boy Smith (British Bulldog).
D-Von Dudley Urges WWE CCO To Induct Spike Dudley Into The Hall Of Fame
D-Von Dudley of The Dudley Boyz made a plea to Triple H, urging him to induct his kayfabe half-brother, Spike Dudley, into the WWE Hall of Fame.
The 53-year-old’s comments came during a recent episode of his podcast of which Spike was also a part.
Spike reflected on his wrestling journey in the WWE as well as before and after it. On the episode, D-Von also shared a story from the night when Spike Dudley debuted in ECW.
He then sent across a message directly to Triple H, explaining why Spike Dudley deserved a place in the Hall of Fame.
If it wasn’t for him, I don’t know if the Dudleys would have gotten as far as we did. It was because of Spike and the crazy bumps that he took for us, and what he allowed us to do to him was why the Dudley Boyz really became the Dudley Boyz. If it’s anybody that belongs into the Hall of Fame, it’s Spike Dudley. So Triple H, I hope you’re listening. Please get my little brother in that Hall of Fame. He deserves every bit of it. D-Von Dudley was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2018 as part of The Dudley Boyz along with Bubba Ray Dudley.
