WWE Hall Of Famer Wants To Do Evolution 2 PLE

wwe evolution 2018

A former WWE Women’s Champion is pushing for the company to hold a second all-women Evolution Premium Live Event.

The first Evolution Premium Live Event took place on October 28th, 2018. Consisting exclusively of women’s matches (including Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch in a Last Woman Standing match), it was seen as a historic event for the company. So much so that multiple people have campaigned for a second one.

Now, WWE Hall of Famer Lita has added her voice to that group. Writing on Twitter, The Extreme Diva simply asked, “Evolution 2 anyone?”

The tweet received support from both Trish Stratus and Mickie James. However, she will need a lot more support than that to get this idea off the ground. Despite Evolution getting so much attention, it was not as successful as the company might have hoped. While promoting the NWA Empowerrr event last year, Mickie James claimed that WWE’s all-women event had been “set up to fail”.

However, those statements, as well as Triple H’s 2021 comments questioning the need for an all-female event, took place under a very different leadership regime. With Triple H now in complete creative control and Stephanie McMahon the Chairwoman of the Board, there’s no telling what changes could be made to WWE’s PLE schedule.
