WWE Hall Of Famer Comments On The Usos’ Historic Tag Title Reign

The Usos

A WWE Hall of Famer known for their own tag team exploits has named The Usos as the greatest tag team of all time as they break new ground in WWE.

On the November 11th, 2022 episode of WWE Friday Night Smackdown, The Usos faced off against The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) in a WWE Tag Team Championship match, getting the victory to rain their titles. But the win also came along with a history-making accomplishment for Jimmy and Jey as well.

That win meant that The Usos were set to become the longest-reigning WWE Tag Team Champions in history and as of the 14th of November, the team officially did just that.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bubba Ray Dudley – who himself has held the WWE, WCW, IWGP, TNA, NWA, and ECW Tag Team Championships – gave his thoughts on why The Usos have surpassed The New Day as the greatest tag team of all time:

“Well, I’m trying to figure out in my mind who truly is the better team. I got to give it to Jimmy and Jey because they did it on their own. It wasn’t like any type of, you know, variation of Kofi, Xavier, and Big E.”

“It’s always been about Jimmy and Jey just like it was always about Bubba and D-Von, just the way it was always about Matt & Jeff, Ax & Smash, Ricky & Robert, Bret & Davey. You name it. The Usos get the nod from me as the greatest tag team of all time right now in the history of the WWE.”
