Danhausen made his WWE debut at Elimination Chamber this past Saturday.

Danhausen’s WWE contract officially expired on Friday, February 27, 2026. His deal was originally set to expire in 2025, but it was reportedly extended into early 2026 to account for the time he missed after suffering a torn pectoral muscle in 2023.

Just one day after his contract officially expired, Kid Gorgeous made his WWE debut at Elimination Chamber.

For several weeks leading up to the event, a mysterious cargo crate had been appearing on Raw and SmackDown, accompanied by a message stating that it should only be opened at Elimination Chamber. At the premium live event, General Managers Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis opened the crate to reveal a coffin.

Moments later, a group of dancers wearing Danhausen-style face paint emerged, followed by the 35-year-old star himself. He made his way to the commentary desk and gifted Michael Cole a jar of human teeth.

Only days into his WWE run, Danhausen is already generating buzz online about what role he could play at WrestleMania 42 and who he might face on the grandest stage of them all.

Wrestle Features on Twitter asked fans who they would like to see the ex-AEW star face at WrestleMania 42. Reacting to the post, Chelsea Green responded, saying she would like to be his opponent at WrestleMania this year.

According to recent reports, Danhausen has signed a multi-year deal with WWE and is set to make his next appearance on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw on March 2.
