AEW Move Delayed Danhausen’s WWE Arrival
Danhausen made his first WWE appearance at the Elimination Chamber on Saturday.
However, a report by Bodyslam.net revealed that plans were in motion to bring the wacky character to the Stamford promotion back in July 2025.
The program, though, never saw the light of day as his employer at the time, All Elite Wrestling, extended his contract despite the wrestler asking them not to do so if they had no intention of using him on TV.
As a result, WWE had no choice but to wait for Danhausen’s AEW contract to expire before approaching him again for a deal.
After his deal with AEW ended, Danhausen uploaded an image of Aladdin’s genie, showing the character’s shackles being unchained.
Several media sources have claimed that his contract with WWE extends to more than one year. His appearance on the February 28 PLE further confirmed that Triple H & Co. plan on using him for a longer term as opposed to having him make a one-evening appearance.
Danhausen’s Next WWE Appearance Revealed
While some fans believe Danhausen’s debut in Chicago felt underwhelming, they won’t have to wait long to see him again to reassess what he brings to the table.
Reportedly, the 35-year-old star is scheduled to make his Raw debut on March 2, 2026.
Also on the show, Roman Reigns will return after being away for a month. On February 2, The Original Tribal Chief revealed that he would be challenging CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42.
Punk himself will be on the show, so sparks are expected to fly if they come face-to-face like they did last month.
