WWE couple wrestler Leon Ruff and referee Daphanie LaShaunn were recently involved in a car accident.
Leon Ruff recently shared on Instagram that he and his wife, WWE referee Daphanie LaShaunn, were involved in a car accident, leaving fans concerned about their well-being. Thankfully, neither suffered life‑threatening injuries, but they were hospitalized for a while before the doctors sent them home.
He wrote, “Earlier today, my wife and I were rear-ended on the road. We just got home from the hospital and we’re both sore and shaken up. I’m alright, but Aja is hurting more than I am. Unfortunately, the car is totaled.
If anyone has any connections to bookers or upcoming shows, I’d truly appreciate the opportunity to pick up some extra bookings. Please drive safe and always wear your seatbelt.”

This incident added another layer of stress to an already difficult stretch for LaShaunn, especially with Elton Prince’s injury.
WWE referee Daphanie LaShaunn Fires Back At Trolls Who Wants Her Fired
Elton Prince was last seen in WWE in May 2025, during a tag team match where a terrifying spot that left him badly hurt. He was later confirmed to have suffered a serious neck injury that required surgery, putting his in‑ring career in jeopardy and raising questions about match safety and officiating.
When footage of the botched spot spread online, some fans and trolls targeted Daphanie LaShaunn, blaming her for not stopping the match immediately and calling for her to be fired. However, she hit back publicly, defending herself against her trolls.
In addition, she said that she would be closing her X/Twitter account because of the hate and negativity she’s been getting on social media.
