WWE Champion’s Title Reign Set To End Soon
A current WWE Champion may be ending their title reign to move to another brand.
At EVOLVE Succession II on March 4, Kendal Grey successfully retained her Evolve Women’s Championship with a win over PJ Vasa in a Street Fight.
The 24-year-old has now held the title, which she won at the inaugural Succession event in October last year.
Despite being a champion on the EVOLVE brand, Grey has made numerous appearances on NXT alongside Wren Sinclair and is a part of the No Quarter Catch Crew (NQCC) faction.
Due to her in-ring athleticism and prowess, she has emerged as one of the top superstars on the company’s developmental brand.
One of the highlights of Grey’s career has been winning the Iron Survivor Challenge on December 6, 2025, at NXT Deadline, where she defeated Jordynne Grace, Kelani Jordan, Lola Vice, and Sol Ruca.
Kendal Grey To Be Bumped Up To WWE NXT
The WWE higher-ups have been impressed by Kendal Grey’s progress.
According to a report by Bodyslam.net, she may be in the process of wrapping up her title run on EVOLVE. Subsequently, she is expected to become a full-time member of the NXT roster.
It is, however, currently unknown when that will exactly happen.
At Succession II, Grey’s male counterpart Jackson Drake defeated Cappuccino James to retain the men’s championship.
Drake, along with his ‘The Vanity Project’ stablemates, Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes, has already joined NXT officially.
On February 24, Baylor and Smokes became the NXT Tag Team Champions by defeating Osiris Griffin and Saquon Shugars of DarkState.
